Bouzu

The name of the restaurant comes from the famous traditional card game, "Hanafuda" (the flower card game). The game became famous in Japan in 1889, when Fusajiro Yamauchi created Nintendo and started producing handmade "Hanafuda". The name of the restaurant, "Bouzu" is taken from the "bouzu card" which depicts a moon over a field.

About us

Sushi represents a really important part from the japanese culture, but don·t show the truth about the usual food that japanese eats. In Bouzu we use raw or marinated fish but in a different way, and also other dishes like Udon, Donburi or Okonomiyaki.

Udon, It·s a very famous noodles in Japan. In Bouzu we take care of its elavoration and we offer some different kinds like, Miso Udon or Curry Udon, very popular to japanese people but hard to find in Barcelona.

Donburi, Japan has a large tradition in rice. Covering the rice with different food like tempura or thin pork stakes.

Teppanyaki, based on grilled food. Okonomiyaki for example its a kind of "japanese omelette" made with, egg, vegetables, porc or seafood, really famous in Japan.
